LUTHERANS IN AFRICA

In February this year we were privileged to have Pastor James May from Lutherans in Africa visit us. Pastor May spent time teaching, preaching and sharing stories of how the gospel is transforming whole communities he serves in Africa.

Remember that we decided at our parish AGM to support Lutherans in Africa to provide a training workshop for 20 pastors. We are almost half way to raising the funds for this important work and if you would like to know more, please email me.

Sunday 29th April - 10.30am

As this Sunday is a 5th Sunday of the month we have planned something special with a visit from our brothers and sisters from the Wangaratta parish.

Our Good Shepherd Sunday Service will begin at 10.30am and will followed by a shared lunch. Following lunch there will be a short presentation of the recent history of the Shepparton congregation and a tour of the land purchased for the building of the new church.
