This Sunday we will be blessed to have Pastor Brett Kennett as our guest preacher. Pastor Brett will be preaching on the gospel reading, Luke 7:1-10.

Service will begin at 8.30am and I look forward to being together in the Lord's presence.

Sunday 26th May - 11am

 FESTIVAL OF THE HOLY TRINITY

This Sunday is the festival of the Holy Trinity - a day when we get to focus in a special way on what it means that God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This divine mystery is at the centre of our faith and while we may not be able to fully understand how we can have one God in three persons, the perfect union that exists between all three is something to which we are drawn and invited through faith in Christ.

Sunday 19th May - 8.30am

This Sunday is Pentecost - that great celebration of the gift of the Holy Spirit and the reversal of Babel. By God's grace the Holy Spirit was poured out on those present in Jerusalem and they were enabled to hear and so were brought to faith Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. God still works the same way today as the Holy Spirit calls, gathers and enlightens those with ears to hear through the gospel. Thanks be to God for this wonderful gift!

Please also remember that our dear brother Frederiko has recently had news of the death of his daughter in Burundi and so we will be holding a memorial service on Sunday afternoon at 3pm. Please join us to support our brother at this sad time.

I just realised I haven't posted any photos of our magnificent choir singing at the LCA's 175th anniversary celebration in Adelaide a few weeks ago. Here's one just for a start (and the service details for Sunday are below)

The choir were just fantastic - a wonderful blessing to all 5,500 people who were there!

Sunday 12th May - 11am

Service this Sunday (12th May) will begin at 11am.

As we did not have an Ascension service this year (9 May), we will be incorporating some elements of the Ascension into the service on Sunday. For your preparation, here are the readings we are going to be using:
